About Us
Formed in 1985, Turner Hire Drive initially operated from a portacabin in Glasgow;
utilising 1 telephone and employing 2 people, the fleet list then consisted of three
vehicles; 2 Ford Escort cars and 1 Ford Escort van.
Having expanded through steady growth and acquisitions, Turner Hire Drive currently
has multiple locations throughout Scotland and North West England. We now employ
over 80 people and maintain one of the largest independent fleets in the country.
Our employees understand the needs of our customers and our continued success depends
on providing clean, modern, reliable vehicles backed up with dependable service
We operate our own Service Department and Body Shop; utilising modern, well equipped
workshops and we pride ourselves in delivering excellent customer service at all
times.
