Road traffic rises in 2011
The latest provisional estimates of road traffic in Great
Britain have been published by the Department for Transport. They
reveal that in the first quarter of 2011:
- motor vehicle traffic was 1.6% higher than in
the first quarter of 2010.
- car traffic was 1% higher, heavy goods vehicle
traffic was 2% higher and light van traffic was 3% higher
than in the first quarter of 2010.
